Dennis P. Schwartz, Attorney and Managing Partner
Since 1989, Dennis has devoted his law practice to residential loan document preparation. Dennis was a key participant in drafting legislation and collaborating with Texas political leaders for the passage of Texas mortgage broker licensing legislation and the home equity constitutional amendments. He is an active member of the State Bar of Texas, Collin County Bar Association and the Independent Bankers Association of Texas. He currently serves on the Tarrant County Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College in 1973, Mr. Schwartz received his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University in 1976.
Steve Manente, Attorney and Partner
Steve in an experienced real estate attorney and focuses his practice on mortgage banking regulatory compliance. He provides ongoing legal guidance and compliance training to clients and staff. He is currently serving as the legal lead in our eClosing initiatives.
Mr. Manente received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado and his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law.
Christine Sisseck, Operations Manager
Christine has been with Schwartz Manente for over 30 years and has a wealth of regulatory and compliance knowledge, as well as experience in all phases of loan production, closing, and operations. Her expertise, attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in document preparation have been instrumental in bringing Schwartz Manente from a small regional operation to a national document preparation firm with a reputation for knowledge and quality.
Prior to joining Schwartz Manente, Ms. Sisseck worked at Merrill Lynch Mortgage, First Union Mortgage, and Gregory Gregg & Associates. She attended Missouri Southern State College in Joplin, Missouri.
Brett Mow, Director of Information Technology
Brett is the architect behind the industry-leading DocsDirect doc prep platform. Brett oversees IT operations and manages long-term technology projects. He has served in this capacity since 1994 and has been instrumental in keeping Schwartz Manente current with advances in information technologies by developing all critical system enhancements.
Prior to joining Schwartz Manente, Brett was a compliance specialist with Lomas Mortgage. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
Niki Troxtell, Production Manager
Niki manages the daily production and workflow for Schwartz Manente. She supervises our doc prep processing and front desk administrative teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of closing documents to clients and communicates directly with clients on loan-level issues.
Niki has a wealth of knowledge and experience in both the mortgage and title industries and has been a vital part of the Schwartz team since 1995. She directly handles most construction and specialty loan transactions.
Michaele Brazelton, Fulfillment Manager
Michaele Brazelton oversees the Fulfillment Department. She manages closings, wire requests, fundings, closed loan package deliveries and post-closing matters.
Michaele has many years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry and the closing process. She interfaces with a myriad of fulfillment partners to ensure smooth closings and quick loan purchases for our clients. She has been serving our clients since 2009.
